SMAS/CHAS – Pre-Qualification & Supplier Questionnaires
A lot of organisations now use PQQs to verify and evaluate their suppliers before they start a project. This can seem quite a daunting process for many SMEs but really is not that difficult to achieve. Health and safety, like many disciplines, has its own language which is not readily recognisable and so by working with us we can help you cut through any confusion.

Case Study 1:
Sphere RHSM was able to offer expert help to a construction company having problems in fulfilling a PQQs supplied by Safe Contractor. Sphere RHSM took over this function and provided the following:
- Gap analysis to determine what was required and by when
- Completed health and safety documentation
- Scheduled training required
- Email feedback to Safe Contractor
The company was able to receive CHAS & Safe Contractor approval within 6 weeks of Sphere being appointed.
Case Study 2:
An electrical company got in touch with Sphere RHSM as they wanted Constructionline so that they could quote for local authority projects, using the system identified in case study 1. Sphere RHSM gained accreditation for the company, enabling the business to quote on a £300,000 project immediately and providing evidence within a 4 week timeframe
